We are the Curious

The European Commission chose Contra to produce a 1 minute live action cinema advert to promote the Erasmus + programme to young people in Britain.

Our in house creative team developed an approach surrounding curiosity. The film’s title, ‘We Are The Curious’, was designed to work as a motivational call to action. We wanted our viewer to be able to relate to the three characters and aspire to explore a city in Europe as they do. This bold concept – to film with three actors in three different cities across Europe – had to travel from pitch meeting to cinema screen in less than 4 weeks! With some slick planning, late nights and (very) early mornings, the vision was achieved and we hope that the results will inspire the next generation.
